As the threat of cyberattacks against the financial sector continues to escalate, the Financial Services Agency in Japan has revised its “Guidelines on Cybersecurity for the Financial Sector,” requiring financial institutions to implement more robust measures, particularly reinforcing countermeasures (such as DMARC) against email spoofing.
