Join us for a unique 4-6 weeks of tech internship in our Shibuya office, offering you both personal and professional development opportunities. Experience working onsite in a Japanese company that prides itself on cultivating an internationally diverse culture.
In the HENNGE’s Global Internship Program (GIP), you will acquire practical application development skills using Python, Go, and/or TypeScript. GIP will provide you with hands-on experience using state-of-the-art cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, offering a full-stack experience for application development.
Japanese is not required as English is our primary language. All interns are required to join our internship program in our headquarters in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, for 4-6 weeks, from 10 AM - 7 PM (JST), Monday to Friday.

Benefits
The HENNGE Global Internship Program is a training program
without salary. However, accepted participants receive a
monthly subsidy to cover living costs such as accommodation,
meals and commuting expenses.
Since starting the program in 2010, we've developed a friendly
network that ensures every intern feels at home and gets the
most from their experience both professionally and personally,
as proven by the former interns we're proud to have since hired
as full-time staff.

Qualifications
Essential:
- At least third-year students or fresh graduates with BS, MS or PhD in Computer Sciences or related field
- Proficiency with Python or Go
- Knowledge of Unix / Linux environments
- Programming experience in any language
- Fluency in English (Japanese not required)
- Interested in open source or tech community activities
Preferred:
- Interested in pursuing a career in Japan
- Interested in Cloud Computing
- Knowledge of distributed systems
- Experience in Full-stack Web Application development
- For Front-End Engineering-oriented path: Proficiency in TypeScript with React / Vue / Svelte
- For DevOps-oriented path: Knowledge in AWS and Terraform

We have closed the application for our on-site internship of Batch 6, November 18 - December 13, 2024 (4 weeks), and Batch 1, January 16 - February 14, 2025 (5 weeks).
Thanks to the overwhelming response, we have been able to fill our internship slots for Batch 6 of 2024 and 1 of 2025. But don’t worry - we are opening applications for other batches soon!
