Photo sharing service released as a new CHROMO function2021.01.27

HENNGE K.K. (Shibuya, Tokyo, President and CEO: Kazuhiro Ogura) is pleased to announce that a photo sharing service for CHROMO--a communication service provided for municipalities throughout Japan that achieves smooth two-way communication with local residents--will be released as a new function (called the album function below) today.

CHROMO is seeing increasing utilization in the municipal childcare and education fields. CHROMO is used as a tool enabling communication between municipalities and residents, including handling absence and tardiness notifications from parents online, distributing newsletters from facilities online, and sending out event notices by using an online calendar.

One job done at childcare and education sites is sharing photos taken at various events to the parents of children/students. The task of uniformly picking out photos of children/students from among many photos, printing them, and delivering them to parents puts a heavy burden on facility staff members, so there is a need for increased work efficiency.

Using CHROMO's album function makes it easy for facility staff members to share a lot of images with parents. Although photo sharing apps and services are available, they often require the user to pay a fee for each file that is downloaded. With CHROMO's album function, users can download photos sent by facilities for free.
