HENNGE One enhances cooperation with Optimal Biz, a mobile device management and PC management service to support the building of corporate telecommuting environments2021.02.10
HENNGE K.K. (Shibuya, Tokyo, President and CEO: Kazuhiro Ogura) is pleased to announce enhanced cooperation between its SaaS authentication platform (IDaaS) HENNGE One and Optimal Biz, a mobile device management (called MDM below) and PC management service provided by OPTiM Corp. (Tokyo head office: Minato, Tokyo, President: Shunji Sugaya, called OPTiM below), to support the building of corporate telecommuting environments.
Due to the promotion of telecommuting, opportunities to access cloud services from home to do work are increasing. Device authentication is one effective security measure for PCs and smart devices.
With the device authentication function provided by HENNGE One, HENNGE issues device certificates, the certificates are registered to Windows devices and smart devices (iOS/Android), and then only devices that have the certificate are permitted to access cloud services.
Up until now, it was necessary to install device certificates on each device, which resulted in a heavy workload for information system administrators in the case of usage at the scale of hundreds or even thousands of devices.
However, thanks to the cooperation between HENNGE One and Optimal Biz, device certificates can now be distributed to multiple smart devices (iOS) at once, which reduces the workload faced by information system administrators.
