Beppu and HENNGE publish a special workation site2021.06.23

We are pleased to announce that Beppu, Oita Prefecture (Beppu, Oita Prefecture; mayor: Yasuhiro Nagano, called Beppu below) and HENNGE K.K. (headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuhiro Ogura, called HENNGE below) have published BEPPU YUKEMURI WORKATION, a special website for promoting Beppu as a workcation candidate site as part of initiatives based on a comprehensive cooperation agreement to promote the Beppu Tourism Valley concept (* see the attachment).

The website enables visitors to confirm extraordinary workplace information-a new proposal by Beppu, which boasts the most hot springs in Japan by volume and amount-and includes information on anti-infection measures taken, as well as information on Wi-Fi environment, conference room, and equipment rental, at inns and coworking spaces in Beppu.
The plan is to increase the number of inns posted on the website, introduce the experiences of companies that have actually set up workations in Beppu, and take other steps to propose Beppu as a good workation site.

The purpose of this agreement is for Beppu and HENNGE K.K. to pursue comprehensive cooperation in order to contribute to the promotion of initiatives related to the Beppu Tourism Valley concept to help achieve a more profitable Beppu.

February 28, 2020, to March 31, 2023
■ Scope of cooperation
1 Matters related to the promotion of entrepreneurship and business establishment aimed at providing a breath of fresh air to kick the tourism industry into gear
2 Matters related to the development of human resources in charge of the tourism industry
3 Matters related to the enhancement of connections between people and companies
4 Matters related to cooperation with other city measures
■ Specific initiatives based on this agreement
・HENNGE will move into a shared office in Beppu to start on-site activities
・The staff of HENNGE's Tokyo headquarters will run a training camp (workcation) in Beppu
・Planning and implementing seminars and events related to entrepreneurship and business establishment for ambitious students etc.
・Actively calling urban-area related companies and investors into Beppu and creating opportunities for local companies, students, and other interested parties to interact with them
・Providing support to gather urban-area companies and providing HENNGE's Tokyo headquarters office as a venue when Beppu sets up networking events etc. in Tokyo
・HENNGE will participate in the ONE BEPPU DREAM AWARD as a supporter company
・Identifying local issues and considering solutions for them in cooperation with related organizations
