Results of research on company telecommuting and passwords2021.07.06

HENNGE K.K. (headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuhiro Ogura) is pleased to announce the results of research the company conducted on company telecommuting and passwords in June of 2021.
Today, the company also released a series of web videos in which the HENNGE ambassador Mai Shiraishi talks about telecommuting and passwords.


These videos were also pre-released and well-received at HENNGE NOW!, the business conference held by the company online in February of 2021. The full versions of both videos were released on the web today.

Research targets: those who work at corporate information system departments at a company having over 100 employees



Things learned from the research:
・Companies that use SaaS (17.2% to 38.6%) or implement telecommuting (27.9% to 77.8%) increased over the last year.
・Many companies use a VPN to enable access to work systems by telecommuters (46.3%).
・Common VPN complaints include response time (40.6%) and the time necessary to log in (23.1%).
・There is a high multi-factor authentication introduction rate (54.2%).
・Common multi-factor authentication complaints include entry work (28.9%) and the time necessary to log in (27%).
・Many users are interested in password-eliminating solutions (44%).
