HENNGE wins a 1st-place Award for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure in the emerging markets category2021.10.08

(TSE Mothers: 4475, headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo, Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Kazuhiro Ogura) is pleased to announce that, during the recent Awards for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure (fiscal 2021) held by the Securities Analysts Association of Japan, we were selected as the 1st-place company in the emerging markets category.
■ About the Awards for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure
These awards have been held every year by the Securities Analysts Association of Japan since 1995 as a way to promote and improve corporate information disclosure. During the awards, securities analysts objectively judge the superiority or inferiority of companies' disclosure in terms of quality, quantity, timing, and other characteristics. In fiscal 2021, the award evaluation covered the following five fields:
1. The IR attitude of the management, functions of the IR department, and basic IR stance
2. The disclosure of information sessions, interviews, explanatory materials, etc.
3. Fair disclosure
4. The disclosure of information related to corporate governance
5. The voluntary disclosure of information in line with the situation of each industry
■ Overview of the evaluation of HENNGE Of the above evaluated fields, HENNGE was chosen as the 1st-place company out of 28 companies in the emerging markets category for the following three fields: the IR attitude of the management, functions of the IR department, and basic IR stance, the disclosure of information sessions, interviews, explanatory materials, etc., and fair disclosure. More specifically, HENNGE was highly evaluated in terms of the following: ・The management recognizes the importance of IR activities and sufficiently explains in person the management strategy through meetings, etc. ・Regarding the performance plan for this term, the company has provided evidence as well as a consistent explanation. ・The company promptly discloses information on matters judged to be important to investors and is sufficiently careful to avoid causing unfairness or confusion. ・The company provides information in English. At the same time, HENNGE was only ranked 12th overall in the field of voluntary disclosure of information in line with the situation of each industry—for which the disclosure of information via websites, facility tours, and similar activities is evaluated.
