HENNGE LP invests in a fund of DNX Ventures, a VC firm specializing in B2B startups2021.10.18

HENNGE K.K. (headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo, Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Kazuhiro Ogura) is pleased to announce that we have invested in a seed fund that is specialized in early stage startups and is managed by DNX Ventures (called DNX below), a venture capital firm that is based in Silicon Valley (in the USA) and Tokyo and invests in B2B startups.

HENNGE has emphasized business synergies up until now as well and has therefore invested in multiple B2B SaaS companies. However, in spite of the need for future business expansion, it seemed difficult for HENNGE to create contacts with more startups on its own.

Therefore, HENNGE recently decided to LP invest in a seed fund that is specialized in seeds and was launched by DNX, a firm that boasts an extensive track record of partnerships with startups and LP companies, primarily in the B2B and SaaS areas. The goals of this investment are for HENNGE to build a much stronger relationship with DNX, thereby supporting cooperation and building partnerships with startups that are highly compatible with HENNGE's business.

By using the experience we have cultivated in the B2B and IT areas up until now to support startups, HENNGE hopes to accelerate the realization of its philosophy, the liberation of technology, and more effectively contribute to the development of Japan's IT industry.

Comments from Akira Kurabayashi, DNX Ventures Managing Partner / Head of Japan
We are truly delighted that HENNGE, Japanese software-startup pioneer, recently chose to LP invest in our seed fund. We will do everything in our power to help ensure the achievement of valuable collaboration and a beneficial cycle of knowledge between the SaaS startups in which the seed fund is invested and HENNGE.
