HENNGE Starts Providing “HENNGE Connect”, Enabling Seamless Access Management in the Hybrid Environment of On-premise and Cloud2022.03.15
HENNGE K.K. (headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo, Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Kazuhiro Ogura, "HENNGE") is pleased to announce that since April 4, 2022, it has started providing “HENNGE Connect “, which adds security features to the on-premise software environment and enables secure and seamless remote access to the on-premise software.
Remote working has become a standard at many companies due to the Covid pandemic, and secure remote access to various systems at companies is indispensable. Company internal portals which were developed by companies for internal use only, are no exception. Since such services were not designed to support access beyond certain boundaries originally, companies have to take various measures, such as managing them separately, customizing workarounds to manage them, purchasing expensive VPNs, and so on.
HENNGE Connect is a new form of service which enables seamless access management in the hybrid environment supporting both on-premise and in the cloud. It can be linked and utilized together with “HENNGE One”, which is HENNGE IDaaS/SaaS authentication platform.
HENNGE Connect has the following characteristics;
1) It can be adopted without a major change to the currently utilized on-premise software environment;
2) It enables secure access to both the on-premise software and the cloud service; and
3) It avoids degradation of performance due to heavy access to the VPN environment.
HENNGE Connect is provided as one of the features of HENNGE IdP Pro and HENNGE One Pro.
HENNGE will actively engage in verification of on-premise software performance in addition to its engagement in SaaS and will continue to assist enterprise customers’ introduction of and transition to SaaS, ensuring both usability and security.
