HENNGE Chooses Ultraman as Its Mascot to Accelerate Companies’ Migration to SaaS2022.03.31
HENNGE K.K. (headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo, Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Kazuhiro Ogura, "HENNGE") is pleased to announce its campaign, “SaaS accelerates with +1” to speed up companies’ migration to SaaS, choosing Ultraman as a mascot.
While the number of companies which encourage remote working to their employees is increasing due to the Covid pandemic, HENNGE believes that adoption of the cloud environment and SaaS is not sufficient while such environment and services are indispensable to enable working style with no geographical and hourly restrictions.
As the result of Gartner Group’s survey conducted in April 2021, average* utilization rate of cloud computing in Japan was 22%, which increased by 4 points compared to the same survey conducted in 2020 (*1).
*Average of cloud items:This average figure is calculated simply by the total number of utilization of each cloud item, such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, divided by the number of such cloud items. Therefore, the figure should not be regarded as the actual utilization rate but a mere reference of the trends.
According to the Survey conducted by HENNGE in October 2021, challenges for companies pre and post introduction of SaaS are as follows; 1) Security-related uncertainties, 2) Increasing SaaS costs, 3) Troublesome management of various user IDs and passwords, and so on.
In the current campaign, “SaaS accelerates with +1”, Ultraman represents the HENNGE SaaS authentication platform (IDaaS), “HENNGE One”, and the monsters represent various challenges faced by the companies’ information system departments. The concept is that Ultraman resolves such challenges caused by the monsters by various measures, as if SaaS resolves them, and promotes HENNGE’s activities to help companies introducing SaaS.
As a first step, HENNGE will set up a fun booth in the “Japan IT Week Spring” sponsored by RX Japan, held at Tokyo Big Site from April 6 (Monday), 2022 to April 8 (Friday), 2022, displaying Ultraman, Alien Baltan, Tada, and Kanegon, to show how HENNGE helps companies introduce SaaS.
