HENNGE Launches “tadrill”, A Targeted Email Attack Training Service That Can Be Self-Implemented By Companies 2022.11.10
HENNGE K.K (headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo, Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Kazuhiro Ogura, “HENNGE”) is pleased to announce that “tadrill”, a self-implementing targeted email attack training service, will be launched on November 10, 2022. “tadrill” protects companies from targeted attacks by offering practical training and establishing a streamlined operation flow.
Targeted email attacks, also known as cyber attacks that target specific organizations and companies, have been on the rise in recent years. There has been a growing need for companies to improve their employees’ security awareness, clarify and establish employees’ course of action when receiving suspicious emails.
On the other hand, general training services require preparation meetings with external vendors, so it usually takes quite a long time to set up; the training is usually only conducted once, so whether it is effective or not is also questionable. Even in the case that the training was actually conducted, the only information that could usually be obtained was the click rate - the rate of people that opened links in suspicious emails.
tadrill is a new targeted email attack training service that solves the above issues. The service consists of two main functions, “tadrill training”, which enables corporate information system staff to simulate targeted email attacks on their employees, and “tadrill alert”, which encourages employees to establish the habits of reporting suspicious emails to information system staff with only two clicks.
The main features of each function are as follows.
■ Main features
【tadrill training】
1) Fixed price training which can be conducted many times at companies’ own convenience
Unlike other typical training services, our system is a self-driven one, which means for a fixed price, companies could freely make use of the training for as many times as needed until it takes effect.
2) Multiple practical email templates
Multiple suspicious email templates are provided. Depending on their objectives, companies can choose suitable templates and train their employees accordingly.
3) No preparation required
Unlike typical training services, preparation meetings with vendors are not required.
【tadrill alert】
1) Act as an add-on to report suspicious emails easily
tadrill is provided as an add-on to Gmail and Exchange Online, so that employees can easily report suspicious emails to information system staff with two clicks.
2) Record “report rate” in addition to click rate
Using tadrill as an add-on for Gmail and Exchange Online, not only can companies obtain the rate of people who opened suspicious emails’ links, they can also get the rate of people “who reported the suspicious case to administrators”. Based on this rate, the security awareness within companies could be quantitatively evaluated.
3) Manage the status of reported emails
Suspicious emails reported by employees could be managed on a dedicated screen to make sure all the problems are tackled without fail.
