HENNGE Adds FortiGate, a Unified Threat Management (UTM) product, to the linkage solutions of HENNGE One 2023.01.05

HENNGE K.K. (headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo, Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Kazuhiro Ogura, “HENNGE”) is pleased to announce that its SaaS authentication platform (IDaaS), HENNGE One, now supports FortiGate, a unified threat management (UTM) product offered by Fortinet Japan G.K..

In recent years, ransomware (ransom demand virus) attacks have been on the rise in Japan. According to an official report by the National Police Agency, 68% of ransomware attacks occurred via "VPN devices" and 15% via "remote desktops," with the main causes being vulnerabilities in devices used for telework and the use of weak authentication information. By adding FortiGate to the linkage solutions of HENNGE One, companies utilizing FortiGate's SSL-VPN authentication to access their internal systems from outside the company can further strengthen their security. HENNGE One's access control features, which provide multi-factor authentication such as ID/password and identity authentication, along with device certificates, allow users to use "FortiGate" at ease while preventing the risk of unauthorized access.

HENNGE will continue to increase the number of solutions that could be linked with "HENNGE One" to support the adoption of a convenient and secure network environment for companies.
