HENNGE K.K. (headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo, Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Kazuhiro Ogura, “HENNGE”) is pleased to announce the release of HENNGE Access Control API, an API for the ID management function of HENNGE One, a cloud security service that supports the “safety” and “convenience” of working environments, on Tuesday, June 13.

As work styles diversify and the number of cloud services used by companies increases, the task of managing ID for each service is becoming increasingly complex. With survey results showing that an average of 7 SaaS services are used per company (*1: HENGE survey), it is necessary for companies to properly manage the ID lifecycle of employees (the creation, modification, deletion, etc. of IDs as employees enter, leave or transfer to other companies). Recently, in order to protect IDs from security threats such as unauthorized access, in addition to using IDaaS (*2), an increasing number of companies have begun to engage in security monitoring to detect incidents at an early stage.

HENNGE provides “HENNGE Access Control” as an IDaaS function of HENNGE One, and by releasing the API this time, user information that is managed by HENNGE Access Control could be linked with external systems. Specifically, when personnel information, such as when an employee joins or leaves the company, is entered into the HR system, the latest updates will be synchronized with HENNGE Access Control, and ID creation, modification, and deletion can be done automatically. This streamlines the data entry and synchronization process and enables seamless ID lifecycle management. In addition, since access logs can be linked to SIEM (*3), the usage status of multiple services can be visualized, enabling early detection of incidents.

By providing “HENNGE Access Control API, it is now possible to seamlessly coordinate operations related to internal IDs. HENNGE will contribute to the actualization of corporate DX by providing this solution that combines security and convenience.

*2. IDaaS stands for Identity as a Service, a service that provides single sign-on, centralized ID management, and multi-factor authentication.
*3. SIEM stands for Security Information and Event Management, a security management system that collects and analyzes various logs for the purpose of incident detection.
