Shibuya Ward Introduces Cloud Security Service “HENNGE One” - Actualizing Smooth De-PPAP and Enhance Email Security 2023.06.14

HENNGE K.K. (headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo, Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Kazuhiro Ogura, “HENNGE”) is pleased to announce that Shibuya Ward (Ward Mayor: Ken Hasebe) has implemented HENNGE One, a cloud security service that supports the “safety” and “convenience” of the working environment. This enabled Shibuya Ward to enhance email security, including "de-PPAP", without compromising the convenience of employees.

Shibuya Ward, which continues to renovate its ICT infrastructure in order to reform employees’ work styles, has been considering measures in response to the growing trends toward the abolition of “PPAP” (a method of sending a ZIP file with passwords, and sending the password separately by email). As a result, considering the ability to de-PPAP without increasing the number of procedures for staff to deal with, as well as the full range of functions to prevent misdelivery, HENNGE One was adopted.
With HENNGE One, staff can securely send attachments via email from any location and with any device. The implementation of HENNGE One has gone smoothly, with approximately 2,800 users utilizing it without incident.
