To Facilitate the Use of the Cloud by Local Governments, HENNGE Adds Cloud Access Service for Local Governments "moconavi LGWAN Cloud Gateway Service" to the Linkage Solution of HENNGE One 2023.11.29

HENNGE K.K. (headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo, Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Kazuhiro Ogura, "HENNGE") is pleased to announce that its cloud security service "HENNGE One," which advances the safety and convenience of working environments, now supports "moconavi LGWAN Cloud Gateway Service," a cloud access service for local governments provided by recomot Inc. The integration enables LGWAN users to prevent unauthorized access and to use a single sign-on to cloud services, which means they can use cloud services more safely and smoothly.

Most local governments, which handle massive amounts of confidential information, employ three different types of networks to strengthen security, separating some networks that manage crucial administrative data from the external internet. The dedicated line for local governments, "Local Government Wide Area Network (LGWAN)," is one of the such networks kept apart from the internet. While that enhances security, it also forces the users to switch devices or networks to use cloud services, preventing streamlined work and advanced convenience.

To resolve the issue, "HENNGE One" is integrated with "moconavi LGWAN Cloud Gateway Service." Local governments adopting "HENNGE One" benefit from single sign-on to "moconavi LGWAN Cloud Gateway Service" and its connected cloud services. That means the users can seamlessly access cloud services such as Microsoft 365 by simply accessing "HENNGE One" via "moconavi LGWAN Cloud Gateway Service." They no longer have to manage complicated multiple IDs and passwords. Furthermore, HENNGE One's access control features, such as IP Control and multi-factor authentication like device certificate, contribute to safer usage of cloud services via "moconavi LGWAN Cloud Gateway Service," reducing the risk of unauthorized access.

This integration is accomplished based on recomot's participation in the "HENNGE One Product Alliance Program" operated by HENNGE, which enabled mutual verification.

HENNGE will continue to increase integrated SaaS with “HENNGE One” to support the convenient and secured adoption of SaaS for companies.
